Henry ALLINGHAM- oldest man ever accredits longevity to “cigarettes, whiskey and wild, wild women.”

henry_allingham_The fun things that Henry’s mom warned him against finally get the better of him at age 113…

There is something to be said about a man who is born in one century, sees it through the next century and finally dies in the century after that.

Allingham an English serviceman in WW1, was able to witness the horrors of world atrocity not just once but twice but in the end was able to get thorough with it all with a degree of stoicism, whiskey, ciggies and the girls. Ahh the girls.

In any event, we think it’s brilliant that Henry witnessed what he did, fought as valiantly as he did for the values that he believed in and of course was able to enjoy and revel in those values.

Makes you wonder where you’ll be when you get to be 56 and a half , forget double that. Our advice keep drinking and the women a coming, and sure being stoic from time will probably keep those heart attacks away too…

After all you know what they say – ‘life is short.’ Except if you’re Henry Allingham. We salute you sire!
